The World Around Us! - A Place to Stand! - Week 1 - Day 2 - Activity 3 - SLJ - Forest Life!

Weird And Wonderful!
How I do Maths!

For your birthday you get a cactus! To keep this cactus alive you give it 3ml ( milliliters ) a day for a whole year! So that means 3 x 365, because there are 365 days in one full year. So the answer is 3ml x 365ml = 1095ml! So 1095ml is my answer!

  1. Kia Orana Cathy,

I like the that you've used some pictures to complement your post. :) You are right there are 365 days in a year so did you mean 3ml x 365 days?

I can see that you've found an equation for this problem which is great, however you have not shown how you worked the problem out. How did you know that 3 x 365 equals 1095? Please edit your post to show your working, I would love to award you full points for this activity when you have done so.

Sometimes math can be very tricky, however I know you can do this! It was a joy to read your post, keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing your edited post showing your working. :)

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.
