  1. Kia ora Cathy,

Wow, what an detailed list you have put together listing off the plants and animals that you would like to save from extinction. I am very impressed that you have included the Black Rhino into your list of animals as their numbers have definitely decreased over the years. They are beautiful creatures, I hope to visit Africa one day so that I can see these magnificent creatures in the wild. I think my list would be very similar to yours, however, I would like to include the Maui dolphin into my list. They are a species of dolphin found off the coast of New Zealand and there are only around 63 adult Maui dolphins left, according to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The chances of a full recovery of numbers is very slim, unfortunately. I am sure there is a team of dedicated people working very hard to protect these beautiful mammals.

Well done one completing a great activity. I also really love your hero picture. Where did you find it? Maybe next time you could right a note telling us where the picture came from. This is called, image attribution.

    Ka kite,
    Megan :)
