I am in Tundra now, it's such a wonderful experience! The only thing I can see is dried up land. There are no trees here! It's really cold here even if I am covered in clothes and a really warm jumper! I'm still cold! Well anyways I miss you lots!

Mother Nature Needs To Live Too!

Logging is very bad because loggers are taking aways so many homes to animals every minute! This is so horrible! I'm not against logging because we need books to learn with and other things made out of nature and trees, but at the same time I don't agree with logging! I feel like we need to control how many trees we cut so then there will be balance with nature and with us humans! Loggers should plant more trees when they cut trees down! Let there be peace and harmony!

If I built a hotel it would be made in Paris and made out of bricks, because bricks are strong and will hold up the building! One of the hotel rooms would look like this!

My Favourite Food!

My favourite food is egg pups! This is a Indian dish that my parents sometimes make! These recipes are different to what I eat!

Recipe:

Heat oil in a wide pan and add sliced onions. Cook till the onion becomes golden brown. Once the onion becomes golden brown, add crushed ginger and garlic and cook for 2-3 mins… 

Add all masala powders and salt. Cook till the oil appears, around 2-3 mins. Add 1 – 2 tbsp hot water to bring everything together. Add ketchup, curry leaves and mix well…

Bring together the diagonally opposite sides and seal. Apply the egg wash all over the sealed puffs. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 mins or until the puff pastry is golden in colour…

Endangered Freshwater Seals!

1. WWF is working to save the endangered freshwater seals in video 1!
2. WWF is building snowbanks for the endangered freshwater seals! If the pups are born on open ice they will have no protection to the cold, predators, and human disturbance, so that's why the WWF are building snowbanks for the seals!
3. WWF is doing a great job of protecting the seals, if they don't do this up to half of the pups could die!

There are some good and bad things about being a ( Department of Conservation )  DOC Staff!

3 Good Things:

• You will know how to take care of the small lizards and other animals!
• You'll know what kind of plant it is if you see a plant!
• You will bond more with animals and nature!

3 Bad Things:

• You'll have to touch lots of plants and animals and you might not like it!
• You'll have to live on Great Barrier Island!
• You will have to live with the animals!
