Wow, what a wonderful DLO you've created!!! I love the inclusion of the acorns designs in the top quadrant! And you've found some super photos, as well as some interesting information about these little animals.
It's Leslie here, a member of the SLJ team, looking at photos of animals that live in my country. That's so wonderful! I actually have seen flying squirrels in action, although they're not as common where I live as the Red and Black squirrels are.
As you can see, they don't have wings so they don't fly as much as they glide. But they can still cover a fair bit of distance in air, as your chart shows - amazing!!!
Why did you choose to research the Flying Squirrel? Was there something special about it that appealed to you?
