ACID RAIN!
It's been three whole days and there is a nonstop rain! Not any regularly rain, ACID rain! Cathy and her friends and family have been inside for so long. When the rain stopped everyone was so happy and immediately ran up to the door. They all wanted to go out for a walk because they were so tired of being inside for three whole days! They slowly opened the door... There were puddles everywhere! Here, there, EVERYWHERE! They all put on their shoes and rain coats and ran outside! They started playing and jumping in the puddles and after a while the sun came out of its hiding spot!

Having read through your story, it really sounds like after three days and three nights of acid rain falling, the outing sounds very optimistic! If one would have to stay inside for three days, I'd say, boredom could really come about. Would have to be careful about the puddles, though - better safe than sorry!
