In Term 1 in inquiry the Senior Hub classes were working on Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. We were separated into groups. In my group I was working with Neesha, James, Lyra, and Ephesians. While we were learning and making the poster I learned that a plastic bag takes over 100 years to be biodegraded.

My Woven Photo Art Reflection

Woven Photo Portrait

1. What did you accomplish?

My accomplishment was creating a woven portrait of myself.

2. Are you satisfied with your woven photo portrait? Why / Why not?

Yes I am because when I finished it looked good and I think I didn’t make big mistakes.

3. What did you find easy when you created your woven photo portrait?

I found the ruling easy because after I made the dots I just needed to rule over them

4. What did you find challenging when you were weaving your woven photo portrait?

I found the gluing challenging because sometimes I put to much glue and the strips glued themselves.

5. What do you need to work on?

Next I will work on putting just a little bit of glue on my strips.

6. What would you adjust with your woven photo portrait?

I wound adjust my nose cause it is not really in proportion.

7. What would you do next time to improve your self portrait?

Next time I would take my time and put only a little bit of glue.

Last week I started school for the new year 2018. At the moment we are learning  "All About Me" with my new teacher Miss Paton. I did my All About Me poster on a Google Drawings.

Hi! My name is Catherine but most people call me Cathy. I am Year 6 and I am in Room 1. In my spare time I like to do art and crafts. During the last holidays I went to Goat Island and did some swimming.
